Bayanihan News received a letter from one of the “requisitioners” for a Special General Meeting (SGM) of the peak community organisation Philippine Community Council of NSW (PC-NSW), Mr. Jun Relunia,President of Philippine Australian Society of Senior Citizens Inc. (PASSCI), giving notice for the postponement of the announced meeting on Sunday 16 August at Marayong Comunity Hall, from that date to a later date to be announced later.
Mr Relunia’s letter thus:”
Dear Affiliate Presidents/Heads/Representatives,
Due to family emergencies involving 2 of the convenors and organisers, the Special General Meeting scheduled this Sunday, 16 August 2020 is postponed. The meeting shall be held within the next 3 weeks and you shall be advised of the new date and venue as soon as possible.
The convenors apologise for any inconvenience caused by this postponement and we hope to see you all at the re-scheduled special general meeting of the Philippine Community Council of NSW.
