A  few months ago, I have been hearing about the rumours that the former Ms Little Philippines was coming to town. I had to clarify it first with the organizers to make sure that she was indeed coming to Sydney in particular. I was so thrilled to know that she was visiting Sydney since I was so intrigued how she looks like now.

The last time I saw Aiza Seguerra was on “Eat Bulaga” in Manila’s TV Channel 7, competing with the other young contestants for the so-called “Little Miss Philippines” title. She consequently won it. If I am not mistaken that was in the year 1987. It took me 26 years just to have a chance to see and meet her in person, most especially here in Down Under.

I couldn’t express in words how happy I was to meet and greet her at the Pabico Club 55 Restaurant, Mt Druitt, on 18th April, 2013. Even though the weather was not on our favour, I was determined to see her that night no matter what.

Upon the star’s arrival at the restaurant, the whole crowd got excited and everyone cheered and welcomed Aiza and famous comedian Bladyak, who was Aiza’s special guest on the Friday and Saturday’s concerts.

The concert was held at the Mounties Club, Mt Prichard on Friday night of 19t April and at the Tivoli Room, Rooty Hill RSL Club on Saturday night of 20th April.

The concert in Rooty Hill RSL Club which I saw was a huge success with great many individuals attending. Both stars entertained the people tremendously.

Aiza’s songs such as “Pagdating Ng Panahon” and “If We Try” brought back memories, making the crowd sing along with her. Her Musical Director, Mike Villegas played the guitar and did an outstanding job.
Furthermore, Blakdyak was hilarious and very compelling with some unforgetable funny antics.

Blakdyak’s songs such as “Modelong Charing” and “Good Boy” were among the crowd favourites, giving the audience so much joy and laughter.

The evening filled the air with fun and excitement wherein everyone enjoyed. Certainly, the organizers and sponsors of the show deserve congratulations for bringing the two artists to Australia.

Most particularly to Cheers Entertainment Australia, Mr & Mrs Gilbert De Leon of Jas My Waffles, Mr and Mrs Phillip Tawatao, Megaworld condominium, Bhajune hairstyle, LBC Hari ng Padala, Say Monkey, IREMIT, BerNikz Multimedia. They made the event a very memorable one. Hats off to all of them.
