MAS Presents and Dancekool are excited to announce the arrival of Michael Jackson’s dance choreographer Buddha Stretch next week for the “Hip Hop Dictionary” Australian Tour, said high profile hip hop impresario Marco Selorio.
MAS Presents is a veteran hip hop event institution in Sydney, headed by Marco A Selorio.
Mr Selorio said the American superstar choreographer and hip hop dance pioneer and global icon arrives in Australia from the 14th – 19th May to conduct a series of talks and dance workshops across New South Wales.
Mr Selorio said,”He has choreographed and danced with music superstars Michael Jackson, Will Smith, Mariah Carey, Salt N Peppa, Eric B and Rakim, Rah Digga to name a few. Buddha Stretch’s distinct dance style, known as “Freestyle Hip Hop” draws from all aspects of the Hip Hop culture and has inspired and influenced generations of dancers in the underground as well as in the industry, which is evident anywhere you see freestyle circles today, whether it’s at a club, a jam, or on video.”
Some of his major dance work includes the dance choreography for Michael Jackson’s “Remember The Time” music video and Will Smith’s “Getting Jiggy Wit It”, “Men In Black” and “Miami”.
