The 4th NLC Electric Cup held last 30 April 2016 at Rum Corps Barracks Golf course was won by Norman Cantoria, who hails from St Clair, a social golfer with handicap of 30. His gross stroke of 85 and net 55 was the unbeatable score for the day.
Cantoria received $250 cash prize, a trophy and the privilege to engrave his name in the monumental perpetual trophy. “Am so happy to win this tournament for the first time” said an ecstatic Norman
Grade winners and their net scores were Michael Sengul (61) for A, Tony Ferriera (58) for B and Bert Castro (58) for C. These winners received $200 each and trophy for their fantastic efforts.
Grade First runners up with their scores were Gerry Estera (64cb) for A, Nep Palomo (62) for B and Ferdie Francisco (62) for C. These first runners up received $150 each and trophies.
Grade Second runners up with their scores were Andy Estera (64cb) for A, Tony Salalila (62cb) for B and Ramon Estoque (64) for C. These second runners up received $100 each and trophies.
Grade Third runners up with their scores were Arnold Villamayor (64cb) for A, Mico Valenton (63) for B and Vince Rule (65) for C. These third runners up received $50 each and trophies.
Novelty hole winners for NTP’s, Drive & pitch & Longest Drives for all 18-holes were awarded with $20 each.
After the tournament, all participants were treated with barbeque lunch and drinks courtesy of the organiser, the Terrific Birdies Puro Golf club or Marsden Park golf association, headed by Serge Jumonong as President and Toto Quintana as team captain. Terrific Birdies Puro Golf social club members plays every Saturday morning at Rum Corps Barracks Golf course starting at 9:00am.
