Philippine community leader Rissa McIness is joint awardee with Harinder Kaur as 2021 Blacktown City Woman of the Year in conjunction with the celebration of International Woman’s Day.
She was acknowledged by Blacktown City Mayor Tony Bleasdale in an annual community event.
Mayor Bleasdale said. “At Blacktown City Council, we value International Women’s Day as an opportunity to celebrate the many achievements of the extraordinary women of Blacktown City.
Rissa McInnes is a tireless community fund raiser and serves as President of The Ponds Lions Club.
