APCO Charity Ball 2017 in Sydney

MayAPCOsLast year the Alliance off Philippine Community Organisations (APCO) celebrated Philippine  Independence Day with a different kind of tack  by hosting an open admission barrio fiesta in Western Sydney  complete with food stalls, cultural exhibit as well as the  regulation stage entertainment presentation from a number of affiliate organisations.

This year, APCO welcomes the APCO Charity Ball 2017  also known in the community as Freedom Ball”  to celebrate the 119th anniversary of Philippine Independence Day.with declared theme of  “Respect and Harmony for a Progressive Multicultural Society”.

APCO spokesman Mr Richard Ford  said what is considered as the much-awaited annual state event in the Filipino-Australian social calendar will be held in 2017  at Club Marconi, Bossley Park NSW on Saturday, the 10th of June 2017 from 6:30 pm till 12:00 pm.

Filipino-Australians and artists from diverse backgrounds will entertain about 500 guests including a cross section of the Australian community, representatives of the Philippines and Australian government, corporate sponsors and advertisers, APCO’s project partners, the media, friends and supporters of APCO. Mr ford said.

To showcase the uniqueness and elegance of the Philippine national costumes, a Filipiniana and Barong Tagalog competition will again attract men and women to vie for the best in Classical and Modern Filipiniana and Barong Tagalog, respectively.

A choice of $110 VIP ticket per person or a $90 General Patronage/person is inclusive of a sumptuous 3-course dinner, a spectacular entertainment, an opportunity to participate in the Filipiniana and barong Tagalog competition, engage with guests from diverse backgrounds and a lot of dancing.
