See TFC movie “Love Affair” in Australian Cinemas From Aug 27

“The Love Affair” which brings together three of the most notable names in Philippine entertainment, Richard Gomez, Dawn Zulueta and Bea Alonzo in a story about three different people who only seek love and to be loved back in return.

Zulueta is Patricia, a woman who seems to be in an ideal relationship until she commits the biggest mistake of her life by falling in love with another man. Gomez is Vince, a man who thought he was in the perfect relationship until he finds out about his wife’s affair with his bestfriend. And Alonzo is Adie a lawyer who may inject some sense of reality for couples whose relationships may have veered away from the ideal as part of her work but eventually becomes part of her own awakening herself. The lives of Patricia, Vince and Adie intertwine when Vince seeks Adie for advise on his failing marriage.

“The Love Affair” marks the first team up of Alonzo and Gomez as well the directorial debut of Naval under Star Cinema.

While it is a first for Naval and the Bea-Richard team-up, “The Love Affair” brings together anew the Dawn-Richard tandem, one of the most enduring love teams in the entertainment history. Zulueta and Gomez’ following cuts across time, projects and generations as fans follow them from their legendary film “Hihintayin Kita Sa Langit,” all the way to their contemporary blockbuster flick “She’s Dating The Gangster.”

Alonzo on the other hand, is dubbed this generation’s Movie Queen given her string of successes from the iconic One More Chance (2007) all the way to The Mistress (2012).

Promising to be another box office and award winner, “The Love Affair,” is set to showcase the three lead characters’ acting prowess as they portray people who only seek love, get hurt in the process but try to find their way back.
