It was an 18-hole match play using modified ‘Ryder cup’ scoring system format i.e. 6 holes four ball; 6 holes foursome and 6 holes singles, all earning 2 points each.
The 24 participants were divided into twelve pairs each and were assigned to either Team Yellow or Team Pink. Team captains were Andy Porral for Yellow and Tino Malubag for Pink. The tournament started with complimentary morning coffee or tea with sandwiches and followed by sumptuous burgers with drinks after the game inside the Fairways Restaurant.
Final scores were 65 points for Team Yellow (winner) and 58 Points for Team Pink. Andy Porral mentioned that it was a convincing score for Team Yellow and was so happy about the results.
Dodee Leones announced that Golf ParE will go back for the regular monthly golf tournament next year with much enthusiasm and more valuable prizes.
