Philippine Vice President Leni Robredo is scheduled to visit Sydney for reported private reason on 9 October 2019.. Following a family commitment, she will also speak in a business forum organised by the Australian Philippine Business Council (APBC) at Barangaroo business park in Sydney. On the side, she will also meet with Australian devotees of Our Lady of Penafrancia feast which is held in Robredo’s home city of Naga every year.
Through the years, many Filipino celebrities including politicians, entertainers, and leaders of international advocacies have meet the Philippine community in Sydney for various reasons.
