PH Talents Ready To Shine At Annual Filipino Basketball-Sydney Kings Day

Alyssa Manalo (200x200) SK2 (1) (172x200) FMD-014 (250x188)MAS Presents, Red Elephant Project and MoneyGram are excited to present FILIPINO DAY with the Sydney Kings on on Sunday, November 16 at the Qantas Credit Union Arena.  The annual celebration will showcase the sporting and musical talents from the Filipino community.

The pre-game curtain raiser will commence at 12:30pm featuring two local Sydney teams, Rooty Hill’s Finest, captained by Bryan Adduru, and Bankstown champions Fil-Aus, led by Ricky Bautista. This will be followed by the main game between rivals Sydney Kings and current NBL champions Perth Wildcats. Tip off is at 2pm.

The Australian national anthem will be sung by 16-year old Filipina-Australian singer Alyssa Manalo from Blacktown City. She is a grand finalist at the Urbanstar Talent Quest national championship in December.

Philippine international hip hop dance champions FMD XTREME will show off their amazing dance skills during the pre-game MoneyGram Jam and main halftime break. The current World Supremacy Battlegrounds gold medalists will showcase their winning piece. 

Filipino fans will get an opportunity to meet and greet the Sydney Kings players, including stars Ben Madgen and Josh Childress, immediately after the game.
