Two wreath laying ceremonies are scheduled in Sydney to celebrate the 153rd birth anniversary of the Philippines’ national hero Dr Jose Rizal.
The first will be on Thursday 19 June at 9:00 am at the Ibero-American Park near the Central Train Station at Chalmers Street, Sydney CBD. The event is being organises by the Order of the Knights of Rizal which is based in Western Sydney.
The second will be at 11:00 am on the same Thursday 19 June at the Rizal Park in Campbelltown. It is being organised by the Rizal Park Movement of Campbelltown or RPMC.
Both events will be brief and there will be no refreshment and food after the proceedings
