Why Jump when You Can Fly …or Somersault …or Backflip?

Children as young as 10 months can start training to fly. Well, not literally but a new kind of gym program has been gaining popularity, teaching infants and children as young as 10 months old a combination of impressive martial arts, basic gymnastics, and body movements skills.

Head Master instructor and owner, Bren Foster is a 6th Dan Blackbelt and a superstar in the martial arts world. He is a 9 time ISKA World Champion,  from weapons to board breaking,  to a gold medal for sparring at the invitational world championships for Taekwondo. He has fought all over the world from Muay Thai to full contact karate.

Peter Vass is a 4th Dan Blackbelt and have been a Martial Arts expert since the age of 8 and the centre’s Master Tae kwon do and Muay thai kickboxing instructor. He is a 3 x undefeated,  full contact fighting  ISKA World Champion, International and Olympic Gold Medalist in Taekwondo. He has participated in hundreds of fighting competitions, from Thai kickboxing, BBJ, full contact Karate and mostly Taekwondo, where he mostly competed in and was part of the Olympic and National team for up to 10 years.

Owner Bren Foster takes pride in the service Elite provides and so ensures that his team of trainers includes the  ‘best of the best’. “We have a certain level of instructors that we accept here as we strive to give the very best in every way to all our clients, and that is why we are so happy to Have Dimitri in our centre so we can continue to provide world class instruction in all activities our centre has to offer.” says Bren.

The Elite Team includes internationally renowned former  Russian Olympic gymnastics coach,  Dmitri Zorin , who brings his amazing methods of tumbling  to Western Sydney and has taught celebrities such as Jada Pinkett Smith, Bren Foster, The Wiggles, and a highly experienced trainer of stunt  actors and live performers. His expertise allows him to break down the most basic movements to give the students a deep understanding and awareness of their bodies in order to build a foundation into performing the most difficult acrobatic  tricks. All these techniques then translate into free running, parkour and astounding techniques in tumbling which the centre has recently opened its doors to.

F or over a decade now tumbling and tricking have been merging with martial arts both on the competition circuit and in film. Free running, on the other hand, has been gracing our screens in the popular Jackie Chan films for over 30years although most of us did not know it.

Tricking can be described as triple spins , flying sommersaults, wall scales, and impressive jumps from building  to building. Parkour , on the other hand, is the latest craze sweeping the USA and the world. Elite is now one of the first fully equipped centres to start teaching this amazing form of human movement that defies  gravity.
