The fourth State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Benigno Aquino III is currently on its preparation stage.
The SONA will be on July 22, which marks PNoy’s second half of his presidency.
The Presidential Management Staff (PMS) and Secretary to the Cabinet Rene Almendras are now gathering the achievements of government agencies as revealed by Presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda.
One of the highlights of his SONA will be the presentation of the economic road map that features jobs generation and rural development program for the next three years.
Almendres said that the Philippine Development Plan has been revised and adjustments are geared toward generating more employment and developing the countryside to sustain domestic economic growth.
Last Monday, Aquino met his Cabinet members to conduct a full-blown review of economic issues in the past three years.
The meeting with the Cabinet lasted for ten hours tackling policies and programs that worked and those that did not in the past three years, and solutions to future challenges, Almendras added.
