By Marco Selorio – Miss Powers, the latest music sensation from Sydney, has received an invitation to attend the ARIA Awards next month. The red carpet will be rolled out to the very best artists in the Australian music industry on Wednesday November 23 at The Star.
The multi-talented singer, songwriter and dance choreographer recently appeared on the X Factor that saw her live audition go viral worldwide. Miss Powers, also known as Andrew Mark Baris, just missed out on a place in the Top 12 finals after making it as far as the 3-Seat Challenge.
The ARIA Awards is an annual celebration of the best music luminaries in the country. This year’s ARIA stage will feature stellar live performances, unforgettable collaborations, special guest appearance from Hall of Fame inductee Crowded House, and nominees Sia, Bernard Fanning, Delta Goodrem, The Veronicas, Flume, Jessica Mauboy and Troy Sivan to name a few.
Sovereign Hill Records and MAS director Marco Selorio will accompany Miss Powers at the ARIAs.
A planned Asian tour, an EP, collaborations with stable mates Calvin Orosa and Naisa are all in the pipeline for Miss Powers.
