The Rizal Park Movement of Campbelltown (RPMC) in coordination with the Philippine Consulate General in Sydney and the Order of the Knights of Rizal (OKOR) organisation invites the public to attend a flag raising program and wreath laying ceremony in Rosemeadow a suburb of Campbelltown in commemoration of the 118th death anniversary of Philippine national hero Dr Jose Rizal.
Venue is the Rizal Park on Anthony Drive, Rosemedow in the City of Campbelltown. It wil be at 8:00 am on Sunday 28 December 2014, with formalities starting at 9:00 am.
Activities will include the obligatory singing of the Australian and Philippine national anthems , rendition of a Filipino patritotic song, Rizaliana public reading, and message from a Campbelltown City Council official and from Philippine Consul General Anne Jalando-on Louis.
The Wreath-laying Ceremony , joined by guest and community leaders, will be followed by morning tea and coffee at about 10:00 a.m.
