CAROL BANAWA is a US-based Filipina singer & actress who is well known for her own rendition of the hit classics Maalaala Mo Kaya, Iingatan Ka, Panunumpa & Bakit Di Totohanin among many. She started singing at a very young age and has seen the limelight when she was tapped to join ABS-CBN’s “Ang TV” in 1994. Carol is one of the Star Circle alumni (Batch 4) and has since ignited as one of the Philippines’ premier music artist.
Carol’s Self-titled album, Carol, garnered gold & multi-platinum awards. Her Follow Your Heart album received gold record certification & platinum record award as well. Moreover, her Transition album garnered gold & platinum record awards also.
She has received a “Special Award” at New York Music Festival.Her songs have reaped multiple recognitions from both local and international music scenes.
