MAS Music Group is excited to announce the launch of Buskers Delight, a street play show that showcases talented performers from Sydney. Proudly supported by the NSW Government, the first Buskers Delight performance started last Saturday January 30 on Pitt Street Mall MidCity Centre from 11am, and will continue on Feb 6, 13, 20 and 27 said hip hop impressario Marco Selorio.
Australia’s Got Talent grand finalist and beatbox champion Genesis Cerezo, New Zealand’s Got Talent winner Chaz Cummings, WSB National champion Michael Flores, Central Coast dancers Roland Gomes, Clayton Lee, Tyrin Barnett, Cameron Brawley and Adriano Cassaniti headline the collaborative cast.
Buskers Delight was written by MAS director Marco Selorio as an outlet during the Covid-19 pandemic. He shared his concept to a few dancers and artists who soon became the core performers.
“I was sitting miserably at home one night and the thought of performing on stage crossed my mind, so I decided to write. The few sentences I wrote soon became a free-flowing comedic script filled with colourful characters,” said Selorio.
“I visualized the team that I wanted in my script – an MC, a beatboxer, a b-boy, a mime artist, a dance crew and a singer. They are the hidden talents that you would normally see on the city streets. To be able to transform this into an actual live show is remarkable. We thank the City of Sydney, NSW Government and Create NSW for this opportunity.”
Expect plenty of mind-blowing music and dance entertainment, fun and laughter for all.
