Sorry that I had to leave early for family commitment” said Pete over the phone when advised about his winning.

Before the start of the tournament, all golfers were treated with hot coffee or tea and were handed with packs of sandwich, bottled water and fruits. After the tournament, a sumptuous BBQ lunch with desserts courtesy of Filcos Fairfield officers and volunteers were served to the delight and enjoyment of all participants.

There were 46 supporters who participated in this annual fundraising golf tournament which is now on it’s seventh year, despite the inclement weather and the absence of cart due to wet fairways.

Before the presentation of awards, Cris Bacucang, the tournament coordinator, thanked everyone for joining this year’s series and invited them to join again next year. The incumbent Filcos Fairfield President Wilma Bacucang congratulated the winners and thanked all the volunteers who did the cooking and brought along their favourite desserts.

The tournament was sponsored by Fairgolf Social Golf Club and the proceeds will go towards the various ministry projects of Filcos Fairfield, Inc. The golf balls awarded were donated by Dincel Construction System.
