BY RIC DEVERA –  GOLFER  Robert Pangilinan in tandem with caddie-putter  Michele  Baltazar won the third Grace/Media golf challenge held at Hudson Park Golf Course last December 6, 2015 with net score of 64 strokes.

This challenge has the unique setup of partnering a golfer with a golf-learner who act at the same time as caddie. Partnership of Pangilinan and Baltazar harmonised well to gain the top spot.

They were followed by the team of Dexter Tabeta with Tony Chiem as his caddy/putter, losing only by count back. These two teams received trophies courtesy of Guardian Funerals and other sponsors.

Two other golfers received each a voucher of complimentary room with breakfast at Grace Hotel in Sydney and one voucher allocated to the champion caddy/putter.

During the award presentation & lunch, this writer thanked everyone for joining this year’s Grace/Media golf challenge and hoped they have enjoyed the unique way of playing the game of golf, including the non-golfer.

Tournament committee member Ms Marilie Bomediano  thanked all the sponsors headed by Grace Hotel who offered three vouchers for overnight stay with breakfast.

She also thanked other sponsors such as Guardian Funerals, Life Changing College, Miss AustralAsia Official Quest, Adhika, Nutrimetrics, Australian Filipina, Kalatas Media, Holistic Freedom, among others.

Here’s wishing our readers a healthy, wealthy, safe and happy New Year 2016.
