Australia’s hottest underground talent search, Urbanstar Talent Quest, is set for a final showdown on Sunday 6th December at Parramatta Town Hall.
Thirty-four finalists from three age divisions are going head to head for a chance to win $500 cash, trophies and a single recording deal.
Now in its 11th year of competition, Urbanstar has unearthed amazing young music stars that had gone on to do bigger things in the Australian entertainment industry.
Some of the names include Jai Waetford, Jacinta Gulisano (Third Degree), William Singe (The Collective), Carla Wehbe, YouTube star Sarah Ellen, Ylona Garcia (Big Brother Philippines), Beau Monga (X-Factor New Zealand champion), Abby Adriano (Matilda Musical) and rap stars Tkay Maidza and Iggy Azalea.
This year’s Urbanstar regional champion from Wollongong, Cyrus Villanueva, is currently in the Top 3 of X-Factor Australia.
Urbanstar event manager Blessie Pica is excited about this year’s batch.

Urbanstar Talent Quest is the brainchild of Filipino-Australian Hip Hop impresario Marco Selorio from Lidcombe.
