QUEZON CITY, Philippines – The Philippine National Police through the Headquarters Support Service (HSS) announced that the annual PNP Summer Sports Training Program formally opens today April 7, 2015 at the PNP Gymnasium.
The sports training being offered are arnis, aikido, basketball, boxing, ballroom dancing, badminton, chess, karate-do, judo, lawn tennis, muai-thai, swimming, table tennis, and taekwondo.
All PNP personnel, Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP’s), PNP dependents and other civilians who are duly sponsored or endorsed by PNP personnel could take part in the said program that is designed to promote their overall well-being through enhancing their physical and mental skills. Camaraderie, discipline and other positive values are also expected to be acquired through active participation in the aforementioned sports.
PNP Officer-in-Charge, PDDG Leonardo A Espina said, “Camaraderie, discipline and other positive values are also expected to be acquired through active participation in the aforementioned sports.”
The registration is still on-going at the PNP Sports Center Office located at the PNP Gymnasium. NO registration fee is required.
