FCF Life Centre The Church On The Highway in Minchinbury, NSW ushers in its 25th church anniversary in August this year with an additional Sunday morning church service in its weekend worship meeting starting 3 March 2013.
It’s slogan of “03-03-13” reminds churchgoers of this important change in the church’s Sunday service schedule since FCF was established as a church under the Church of Foursquare Australia denomination meeting at Westmead Progress Hall in 1988.
After changing its venue for Sunday meetings twice in rented venues in Western Sydney, FCF moved to its present building and premises on 111 Eskdale Street, Minchinbury in 1995.
From Filipino Christian Fellowship, the congregation changed its name to FCF Life Centre in 1998, and subsequently in 2002 into FCF Life Centre The Church on the Highway.
The congregation is comprised of more than 600 regular members meeting on 9:30 am start on Sundays. The change to two Sunday meetings, at 8:30 am start and another at 11:00 am, should not only comfortably accommodate visitors and new churchgoers, but also provide an avenue for ministry for the church’s growing rank of workers and volunteers.
FCF Life Centre provided a well rounded curriculum for its one-hour Sunday school meetings for children, teaching them Love of God and good missionary character for growing young minds.
